The dubbed side

Who runs this blog, and how

reading, eating, and writing it down

Tranvo Delivery is an editorial site about U.S. casual dining and sports-bar culture. We're based at Olive 8, 1615 8th Ave, Seattle, WA 98101. We don't run a restaurant, we don't take orders, and we don't sell anything. The work is reading, eating, and writing down what a place is actually like on a normal night.

That distinction matters more than it sounds. A restaurant writes to fill tables. A chain's marketing page writes to make every location sound the same. We write from the visitor's side of the counter: what the room feels like at 7 p.m. on a Tuesday, which sections of a menu actually get ordered, how the seating handles a party of nine, and whether the takeout container survives a twenty-minute drive. If a detail we cannot confirm matters to you, we say so instead of guessing.

How topics get chosen

By reader question, mostly. The ones that keep coming up: which chains work for large groups, what travels well for delivery, how a sports bar differs from a casual restaurant, what to expect from a chain happy hour, and which places stay open late on weekends.

When a question shows up often enough, it becomes a page. If you send us one, it goes on the same list — not a separate queue, not a backlog we never touch.

What we do and don't claim

We describe menu style, room atmosphere, service format, and the occasion a place fits. That means concrete detail instead of adjectives: not that a place is lively, but that the bar seats fill first on game nights; not that the food is good, but that wings travel better than steak.

We don't publish ratings, rankings, or awards, because those need a methodology we don't have and a footprint we haven't visited. We also don't publish prices, since chain pricing shifts by region and by day. If a detail varies by location, we say so, because hours and happy hour windows are typically set store by store and we can't verify every one.

Included

Menu sections, seating layouts, service patterns, occasion fit, delivery survivability, and typical timing windows.

Not included

Star ratings, chain-wide rankings, awards, price lists, or guarantees about a specific location on a specific night.

Our editorial approach

First-hand where possible, specific everywhere. That means concrete detail over adjectives: not that a place is lively, but that the bar seats fill first on game nights. Not that the food is good, but that wings travel better than steak. If a sentence would still be true with a different restaurant's name in it, it isn't finished.

specific over general, every time

That's the standard we hold the pages to, and the reason the guides name specific menu sections, seating areas, and timing windows rather than generalities. When a chain's page grows a new section or closes a room, the guide gets edited to match — not left as a snapshot of an earlier visit.

How we handle corrections

Restaurants change. Menus get edited, hours get adjusted, rooms get renovated. If something on the site no longer matches what you found, tell us.

Email is fastest for corrections Open

Write to info@tranvo.delivery and tell us what you saw and where. A location name, a day, and what changed is enough — we'd rather fix a page than leave it wrong.

Phone works too Open

Our number is +1 206 971 7446, Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM. Bring the same detail: what you saw and where.

What happens to a correction Open

Corrections get folded into the relevant guide rather than published as a separate note, so the pages you read stay the source of truth. When a detail varies by location, the guide says which locations it covers.
